The first year that I celebrated Mothers Day for ME, I was 5 months pregnant with Caleb and we waited for a table at Outback for almost 4 hours. (not willingly... we were told 1.5 hours and after waiting that long... you kinda hate to leave and wait that long somewhere else too!) Anyways, after Caleb was born we have spent Mothers Day at VA beach with my friend Crystal and her daughter. Every year we take "the picture" of our kids on the beach.

With Caleb playing football this year, we wouldn't have been able to make it down until late on Saturday, which is the day that we have usually cooked out on the grill and attempted to do kabobs. So... this year Crystal will be coming up here for Mothers Day weekend. We will still do kabobs and we will still try to take "the picture" It will just be a little different then the previous years since we will not be spending the day at the beach.
