Pee Wee Football

Caleb had his first flag football game this weekend. We were all really excited for him since he's playing in a sport now, and he was super excited about it too. We got there and the kids were divided into teams. The kids went with their teams to practise while the parents were "talked to" about how this league is for fun and how our games will be held at the same time and same place every week. (picture below, Caleb and his team)Anyways, after practise we had out first game and Caleb did alright. He's not their best player on the team and he's well aware of that. He thinks he doesn't need to play because his team mates are better then him. He is one of the youngest kids on the team too, so he has to get used to it. There were some other kids that didn't want to go on the field at all and the game was mostly just herding the kids from one end of the field to the other. There was a kid who ran the wrong way on the field and there were kids who played with flowers instead of helping the team. There were kids who chased after their own players and their were kids who thought it was tackle football instead of flag football. There was laughter and there was a lot of tears! But overall, it was a great game! :) (Picture of Caleb on the field)
