Splish Spash

So the plan on Sunday was to eat lunch, go to the pool and then come back for cake and homemade ice cream! Lunch was just sandwiches and potato and pasta salad with some chips and dip. I think we had a watermelon that we forgot to cut up... Anyway, after lunch we were headed to the pool. Caleb was the only one that made it in (barely) before we had to head back because of the rain. Marcus (who hadn't made it to the party) called me to let me know that the storm was pretty bad and included hail. As we were heading back there was a boy with his dad who insisted that they wait the storm out under one of the umbrellas. As we got back to grandma's it started to pour! I wonder how wet that family got? :)

An hour or so later, the storm passed and we were ready for the pool again! Alec (who hates the water...) fell asleep in the stroller on the way over, which was my plan all along! I got to swim with Caleb who is such a little fish! He was doing all sorts of flips and dives into the pool. Scary and cool... for all of us!
