This restriction has been in effect for about a week now. We are restricted to using 75 gallons of water per person, per day. We are not allowed to wash our cars, water our lawns or fill our pools. The Ashburn reservoir has dropped to 20% of its capacity. The reservoir should have almost one and half billion gallons of water. But… we only have 280 million gallons of water left, which will probably be gone by this time next month! This just seems so crazy to me - less than one month's water left? Why did LCSA wait so long to put mandatory water restrictions in place? I mean, who's filling their pool in October?

Quick! Everyone do a rain dance!
